First, let me say, that many of the people who are currently taking the "live forever" pill, do not even know they are taking it! The secret cabal of those with knowledge about the pill, is so careful not to let the secret out, that they choose the people who get to "live forever" and then secretly administer the pill to them.

Where did the "fountain of youth" pill come from?
Disclaimer: I made all of this up. It is a plot line to a book I'm writing. I am not simply saying I made it up, to keep the people that control the "fountain of youth" pill from killing me.
My guess is that the pill was invented in the late 1930's in Germany. One of Hitlers Henchmen "Dr Josef_Mengele" was studying cell reproduction and noticed that all cells have a mechanism to kill themselves off or stop reproducing (depending on the type of cell). This mechanism is triggered when a cell becomes damaged. When old broken cells don't kill themselves off properly, they cannot be replaced by new cells. The failure of this chemical mechanism is what causes aging, and cancer.
When a cell begins growing incorrectly, this natural mechanism causes the cell to kill itself (or simply stop reproducing). The mechanism breaks down over time because the human body runs out of a "certain chemical". This chemical is vital to the process by which "bad" cells are ridden from the body. The chemical is only created for the first few decades of life. As soon as the body is unable to reproduce, the chemical stops being created, and the body runs out of it, and eventually dies. (it is this chemical, that allows lizards to grow back their tails)
It was only later, after Hitler and his henchmen escaped to Venezuela, that the pill was developed. The chemical was refined from babies. Yes, they kill babies to create the pill.

Live Forever - Everlasting Life
If Doctors could grow you knew organs from your own stem cells, how long would you live?
What if you could take a pill that would stop aging and cancer?
Lets posit, that you would live 20 or 30 years longer. A whopping 20 more years before you die. What would that do to the earths population? If you, and your three children, live to be 120 instead of 80 or 90, what additional resources would be required of the planet?
If 3 million men weren't killed in the Vietnam War, 4 generations of their children would be alive today, as would they. Some 300 million more people would exist on the Earth.
Overpopulation would cause more death, misery, gloom and doom than all the nuclear weapons in the world. We keep Nuclear weapons technology secret, so one would have to assume they would also have to keep knowledge of life extending treatments secret.
Even simple surgeries like bypass surgery and angioplasty are keeping people alive much longer than the technologies of just a few years ago allowed. Older people are being denied these treatments based solely on their age. “You are too old to get this surgery. You might not survive.” Well, they certainly won't survive without the surgery.
Scientists have recently discovered exactly how cells break down in the aging (cancer) process. Cells lose the ability to generate the signals that kill themselves off or stop themselves from reproducing. When a cell goes bad in your body (dna breakdown = aging = cancer) there is a natural process by which the goofy cell tells itself to stop reproducing and / or destroy itself. It is when this natural process stops working that we get out of control tissue growth (cancer) and or aging. I would guess that some day scientists will be able to restore our goofy cells ability to kill themselves off with a simple pill or injection. We will one day be able to stop, reverse or severely retard the entire process of aging / cancer with a $2 pill. (aging and cancer are Very similar. If you cure cancer, you cure aging)
In the oldest writings in history, we find men thinking about what will happen when people on earth live forever, the way it is in heaven. We find the most powerful men in the world (The Pharaohs, The Chinese Emperors, the Aztecs, the Nazi's, The Bible) searching for the fountain of youth, for the elixir of life that will make us live forever. From pills that can stop aging, people can be brought back from the dead (cloned), to new organs grown from your own cells and transplanted, or an entire new body cloned, and your head sewn onto it: Unless a huge meteorite comes and wipes our species out, we will eventually learn how to live forever.
It is an obvious conclusion to all that think about this issue (and know math) that so many people would be alive, that civilization would run out of the ability to feed them all. Therefore these kinds of life extending treatments would need to be rationed or kept secret. Since it would take a use of force to prevent a man from taking the $3 pill that makes him live longer, only the State (which is run by the most powerful banking cartel in the world) could prevent people from getting life extending treatments because only the State has the monopoly on the use of force. Only the State could effectively keep such knowledge secret. And when the secret gets out, getting onto the list of those who WILL be allowed to live forever, will be the most important thing in the world.
So, take your number, and get on the list, as only the chosen ones get to live forever. Men will kill to get on the list. Nations will go to war for the technology. It is not a question of if, but when.
What if I had this pill? What if I could make you live forever? What would THAT be worth to you?
